Rooibos,...
Again, emphasising the natural ingredients by using a watery glass so it seems juicy and fresh, I also used really bright colours in this piece to really bring this product to life.

Moringa, Lemon&Lime
Here I wanted to emphasise the natural taste and the freshness of the product, I decided to gloss the fruits to give a juicy effect, again immersing the character in these natural ingredients.

Hibiscus,...
I wanted to emphasise the hibiscus and the natural ingredients by immersing the character with in the natural ingredients. I also used the cotton plant to represent the cotton farming in Sudan.

Escape to Paradise
After creating Running to Paradise, I thought it would be interesting if I could show the running through the image, so I decided to animate the composition. I like the way it demonstrates the idea of running around and around to your tropical paradise. GIF version can also be available

Running to Paradise
Looking at Pastel Tropics I really loved the idea of merging the mediums of paint and digital image. I, therefore, painted all the different parts of the image and then formed the composition within Photoshop. The idea of this piece was running in circles, and constantly trying to find one's...

Wecanthanderthal
This piece is in response ton Alvaro Sánchez' piece 'Cárcel' or "Jail." It is an abstract notion of what is the body, or what is human. It's textured, cracking and leaking. As if our minds and body are our own prison. As if society today isn't equipt to handle the...

Childhood
I wanted to grab something that would remind me of my childhood, The thing that hit me was the smell of my nan's house and the smell of the old fabric and flowers, whatever the smell I used the colours to represent a time that was happy and innocent.

This piece was inspired by the idea of being broken, by taking the pieces and morphing them into something completely new and then glossing them over with a new colour, the idea of being broken but also hiding it from the world.

Transition 2
I became fascinated with how I could heat up plastic from a flat surface and mould it into these flowing shapes. These shapes seem free and soft like fabric, however they hard and stuck in this new form that some one else has moulded and will never be able to become it's individual shape again....

A mother's love
This poem inspired me to develop my works on mental illness. It inspired me to look at the people who help you through it. A big person in my life is my mother, the light of my life. This shape represents the womb and ovaries.

Tiptoe
This was done using "automatic drawing." The surrealist concept to draw from your subconscious by putting yourself in a relaxed state (It helps me by listening to music). Don't think about what you are drawing and let your mind lead you. I find this to be tranquil as it relaxes me but...

I'm waiting here...
"I'm waiting here patiently" is identifying sexual abuse and female objectification. The glossy layer of bright colours over the top is an attempt to hide the obscure sexual shapes and cracks of what are beneath. It represents how people ignore these problems instead of facing them. The...
