The Things That Make us...
Inspired by the dream like under water feeling in this piece I experimented with layering the original work to create a new depth to the piece
Using Monique de Brock-Bol's original photograph 5 times allows me to create a new piece of work by experimenting with transparency. Using the layers to create a new perspective of the trees and adding in some found gestural markings which reminded me of the rings of a tree when its cut down.
I've experimented with various layers and transparency elements as well as slicing up the original painting of Karis's Transfiguration piece to create this abstract dreamy piece. Everybody goes through a change of appearance at some point in there life wether its there own decision or a decision...
Taking inspiration from Correy Abbotts piece Marriage but instead of the circles being overlapped these to are coming together so the union has still yet to happen.

This piece takes its inspiration from a mixture of g-logical's simple connections piece as well as the textures of Munpook Luis work, drawing on the tones and various textures within the work and put together in trade mark T.M.A style.
