The human body. There are two ways in which it is perceived - Attractive or Unattractive. It is a common fear, for women (and men), that they will become or stay fat and thus become an ostracized entity of society. Our bodies dictate our place in the world. It dictates how much money we make, our job advancements and even our social/sexual lives.
As much as we like to believe that looks don't matter, they do. It is in our DNA. The difference is, can we fearlessly be comfortable with ourselves outside of global judgement?
The purpose of this piece, "Tess" is to test our comfort levels when presented with an image of the unattractive. How do YOU feel and what do YOU think when looking at something so simple and blatant?
