So you don't like pink but would like to go for the opportunity to have a video of your practice made for you? Then this is the challenge for you!
As chosen by you lovely community members, we uploaded our first ever COLOUR THEME on Pop My Mind recently, but we appreciate that China Rose may have been a little bit too pink for some of our members, so as an alternative we bring you Green!
>>> The Theme <<<
We challenge you to be inspired by the colour green, any shade or tone of green is good as long as it "sits between blue and yellow on the spectrum" and create a piece of work in any medium using that spark of inspiration!
We encourage you to think outside the box and come up with something bold, unusual and captivating.
>>> The Reward <<<
We’re delighted to offer an exciting reward with this call-out to get your creative cogs turning.
One selected winner who responds to this theme or the China Rose theme will receive a 30-second promotional video documenting your creative process, made especially for you! You can use this video as part of your portfolio, on your social media and on your website in order to boost engagement with your followers and give your audience a priceless insight into your work.
This will be filmed by the talented Ieva, who you will know on Pop My Mind as zhyzhyp.
Here is her new website: https://www.createvemedia.com/
To understand what kind of video she will be making for you, see her incredible piece on Elika Bo (another PMM community member) here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RS-gXBz2G-A
>>> The Nitty Gritty <<<
The deadline is the 1st June.
Within a month of winning, we will arrange with you for Ieva to come and film your creative process in action in your home or studio, which she will then edit into a video and share with you. The final piece should be with you by mid July, but depending on schedules this may be flexible.
With your consent, Pop My Mind will also share the video on the Pop My Mind Youtube channel in order to help you be seen by more people!
We expect you to credit the filmmaker when sharing the video, and will give you details on how to do that when you’re selected.
Due to travel restrictions, unfortunately we are only able to offer this prize to people who live in the UK. However if any international artists would like to get involved in the call-out, please do submit something since we’d still love to see / hear / read your work and let it inspire others.
We’re really looking forward to seeing how you transform this open theme into uplifting pieces of creativity. Enjoy!
